Your responsibilities
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with applicable notary and consumer laws.
- Do not misrepresent qualifications, licenses, or availability.
- Respect others’ data and intellectual property; only upload content you have rights to share.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the platform.
Fees and payments
- Payments and payouts are processed by third-party providers; additional terms from those providers may apply.
- Displayed prices may exclude taxes or regulatory fees unless stated.
- You agree to resolve billing issues promptly; refunds follow the applicable provider’s rules.
No guarantees
Information about notaries, including availability or pricing, is provided by notaries themselves or public sources. We do not guarantee accuracy, suitability, or the outcome of any notarization.
Limitation of liability
- The platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid for platform use in the past 12 months.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms or the service. If changes are material, we will give notice. You may stop using the service at any time; we may suspend or terminate accounts for policy or legal reasons.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be handled in English and, where allowed, resolved through informal negotiation before formal proceedings.
